a snippit of inspiration

As I am sitting in the lab waiting for my labpartner to show up, I felt inspired to add a quick update to my blog. I still love you blog, I truly do, but I have been neglectful, and if its over between you and me I udnerstand. I hope we can work things out though... Maybe I will give you a nice new look, buy you something pretty, what do you say? :)

So what has been going on in the last 3 months.. holy crap, that's along time. Anyways.. Well a lot and not so much at the same time. School mostly, which has been insane with 6 courses, one of them being my thesis project.
Lets see. passed my summer classes, had a great 25th birthday with my mom visiting and an awesome party. school started, my thesis is coming along very slowly. I am passing all my courses so far and doing alright in them, some better than others. Right now is pretty stressful with formal labs, lab exams, final exams and thesis project being stuck because my prof is lazy, meaning everything neesd to eb done last minute. I am trying to get into a course next semester I just recently found out about which I am realllllyyyyy hoping to get into because it sounds awesome but chances are pretty slim.
On the bright side. I have become an aunt of the most beautiful little girl called veerle. She's awesome and I cant wait to go see her, which will happen in a few weeks at christmas time when I'll be flying home for 3 weeks!! Unfortunately Alan will be staying home :( He has to work and it's too much money for both of us to go. Sadly. I am going to miss him a lot, but on the up side I will go home for chistmas which has been 6 years, and I get to spend it with lots of people I love and do all sorts of things I have missed doing, so I am sure I will still have lots of fun.
Alan's brother recently got engaged to a great girl. We're all very happy for them and they are getting married down south. yay caribean here I come... well ok, next winter, but still!
I have recently discovered guitar hero on the xbx. I love that game!
Alan's poppa was in the hospital for a stroke which thankfully turned out to be minor. He is going home today and we are going to celebrate thanksgiving-chrsitmas family dinner in hawkesbury at Alan's aunt's house this weekend because his other aunt is down from BC.
On the school front. As of this point I still have 2 labreports 2 labexams and 4 final exams to go until christmas. I am going to study. Ciao
