I am looking forward to Christmas a lot, but I am not to worried about it yet. I am starting to slowly think about gifts, but havent really come up with anything spectacular yet. In a few days it is Sinterklaas, maybe next year I will remember in time and I can actually set something up with some friends and celebrate it ducth style, that would be fun.
We have had a busy weekend. I am trying to remember what we did. Oohh yeah, it mostly revolved around food. On monday we had Chuck Norris and Martha over for dinner. We cooked a vietnamese dinner, which involved delicious fresh springrolls and pho. Afterwards we played some rockband and a couple of games of cribagge.
Saturday was the big Denby trial dinner. We spent most of the day preparing this. I made rubarbh pie for dessert, a cauliflower sweetpotatoe curry soup and garlic mashed potatoes, and Mr right made a wonderful chicken, filled with a leek-gorgonzola mouse, wrapped with spinach and a brandy mustard sauce. Supper was great and so was the company.
Sunday,I had a nice chat with my brother, it was his birhday, and then I spent most of the day baking cookies at mom and dads. I made two tone cookies which took FOR EVEr, but were still fun to do, I always like the end result. Afterwards we had dinner and Batmans cookie exchange later that night. The weather wasnt that great.
Today we set up another joint bank account and did some more shopping for work clothes. I now have a really nice suit which was on sale 40% off from Jones new York, , a skirt a shirt and another shirt thingy. Popcorn and cribagge sealed the day. Battery is dying plus time for bed equals, write you later.
